Texas Concealed Handgun License Course (New and Renewal) Call for Private classes in your home or at your Range
This course will provide the Student with the Knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Texas CHL examination which is required to obtain the Texas Concealed Handgun License and complete the application.
This course also includes the Range Qualification portion of the Texas CHL requirements. Help with completion of the application is available, if needed.
This course includes 10 hours+ (4 hours+ for renewal) of classroom instruction given over a 1 day period, and includes Range time. Class will be held on Fridays and Saturdays, 7am - 630pm. Evening classes are available (Wed - Sat.) upon request and with prior arrangements.
IF YOU BRING YOUR OWN FIREARM, IT MUST BE IN SAFE WORKING ORDER WITH AT LEAST 50 ROUNDS OF MATCHING AMMO. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECK IN AND OUT OF YOUR FIREARM AT THE RANGE.
The student will learn at miniumum, the Safe Handling and Storage of firearms. Non-Violent Dispute Resolution, Use of Force, and the Texas CHL Regulations. A Range Qualification course will require 50 rounds of ammunition. Minimum Caliber is .38 for Revolver, 9mm (380ACP) for Semi-Auto.

1. Guns are always assumed to be loaded until proven that they are not 2. Always keep the Muzzle pointed in a Safe direction 3. Know what your target is and what is around (behind) your target 4. Always keep your finger off the trigger until Ready to Shoot
What should you bring to class?
1. Pen or Pencil 2. Note Pad or Paper 3. 50 rounds of ammunition (optional) 4. Handgun (revolver or Semi-Auto) (optional) If you qualify with a Semi-Auto (SA) you can carry any type of handgun. If you qualify with a Revolver (NSA), you can only carry Revolver type handguns. If you require a Revolver or Semi-Auto handgun for qualification one can be rented at the range. You do not have to own the handgun you qualify with.

Course Cost $100.00 for Training Class. Groups of 2 or more New Students are discounted to $75.00 ea. I will accept silver bullion in lieu of cash for payment. (rounds, bars or junk) Call for details $140.00 to the State of Texas for License Processing. (Veterans pay only $70) ($35.25 goes to the FBI for background checks.)

The student can hold his seat with a $50.00 deposit and pay the balance at class time.
