Utah Concealed Weapon Permit Course for New Applicants Call for Private classes in your home or at your Range
This course will provide the Student with the Knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Utah CFP examination which is required to obtain the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit and complete the application. The license is good for 5 years and costs $15.00 to the Non-Resident for renewal.
This course includes approximately 4hours of classroom instruction. Classes available upon Request.
The student will learn the Safe Handling and Storage of firearms. Non-Violent Dispute Resolution, Use of Force, and the Utah CFP Regulations. A demonstration of safe gun handling will be performed by each student.
The advantage of having both your Texas CHL and Non-Resident Utah License is this. You will be able to carry in the states of Washington, Ohio and West Viginia. Currently these states do not recognize the Texas CHL. In order to tranpsort firearms in these states, they must be inside a locked case not accessible to the driver. The ammunition must be separate from the firearm.
With your Non-Resident Utah License, you will be able to carry on your person within these states, provided you obey the local laws governing concealed carry.

$100.00 for Training Class. $50.25 to the State of Utah for License Processing ($16.25 goes to the FBI for background checks.)
Total Cost to Student - $150.25 Notary will be available for each class. Fingerprint Cards and Fingerprinting will be performed on-site.
